Samsung Electronics has unveiled its newest MICRO LED, Neo QLED and Lifestyle TVs ahead of the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) set to hold from the 5th – 8th of January 2022.
The electronics company also revealed each television will feature an ‘intuitive, integrated platform that helps discover, purchase and trade digital artwork through Micro LED, Neo QLED and The Frame – the new television models.
Samsung will become the first TV manufacturer that will support NFTs to this degree. The TVs will also be the world’s first screen-based NFT explorer and marketplace aggregator. This will also help buyers (and users) purchase them via the TV.
Apart from purchasing NFTs, users will be able to browse for NFTs on sale, read about NFT creators and the story behind each digital art token. All this will be done on the three smart televisions.
In a press release, the company also highlighted ‘‘with demand for NFTs on the rise, the need for a solution to today’s fragmented viewing and purchasing landscape has never been greater.’’
You should also be aware that people have spent over $9 billion in NFT sales so far and approximately $26.9 billion worth of NFTs has been traded across all NFT marketplace.
