As we continue to expand our platform, we are looking for a talented and driven QA Engineer to join our team and ensure that our products meet the highest quality standards.
Job Description
As a QA Engineer at Nkwa, you will be responsible for designing and implementing tests, debugging, and defining corrective actions. You will review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics (e.g., defect densities and open defect counts). The QA role plays an important part in our company’s product development process, and you will work closely with the development team to improve the quality of our financial solutions.
Key Responsibilities
– Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for new and existing features.
– Perform manual and automated testing to ensure the quality and performance of web and mobile applications.
– Identify, log, and track bugs in collaboration with the development team.
– Participate in the review of technical designs and contribute to overall product quality.
– Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test documentation.
– Maintain and improve automated testing frameworks and test scripts.
– Work with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and high-quality releases.
– Continuously seek ways to improve testing efficiency and product quality.
Requirements
– Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role in software development.
– Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
– Hands-on experience with black-box testing.
– Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
– Proficiency in using test management software and bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
– Experience with automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress).
– Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
– Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
– Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
