Cameroon Telecommunications (CAMTEL) is launching a national call for expressions of interest for the pre-selection of applications for the competition called “BLUE TECH CHALLENGE” throughout the national territory.
Categories :
- Best University Project : This prize will be awarded to the best project backed by a university or higher institution of learning, developed by students, researchers.
1st Prize : 2000.000 FCFA
2nd Prize : 1.500.000 FCFA
3rd Prize : 1.100.000 FCFA
- Best Tech Start-up : This prize will be awarded to the best technology start-up based in Cameroon and run by a Cameroonian.
1st Prize : 4000.000 FCFA
2nd Prize : 2.500.000 FCFA
3rd Prize : 1.500.000 FCFA
- Best Woman-Led Start-up : This prize will be awarded to the start-up with the best technological project addressing a challenge faced by women.
Unique Prize : 2.000.000 FCFA
- Best Innovation for People with Disabilities : This prize will be awarded to the best project led by a disabled person or addressing a challenge faced by people with disabilities, through the “Tech Is the Bridge” concept
Unique Prize : 1.000.000 FCFA

- 21/05 – 15/07 Receipt of submissions
- 16/07 – 21/07 Shortlist
- 22/07 – 28/07 Presentations and Interviews
- August 2024 Final Selection by Panel of Judges
